About recruitment :
Online applications are invited for courses beginning in July 2024 in the Flying Branch and the Permanent Commission (PC)/Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches for the grant of the Short Service Commission (SSC). Online applications are also invited through NCC Special Entry Scheme and Meteorology Entry to grant PC / SSC for Flying Branch.

Age Limit (As on 01.07.2024) :
Flying Branch – 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 year i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches – 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2024 i.e. born between 02 July 1995 to 01 July 2001 (both dates Inclusive).

Examination Fee :
Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers. Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable)as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry and Meteorology Entry are not required to pay.Details of conduct of exam, examination centers and mode of payment are available in the notification.
How to Pay Fee :
Application Fee may be paid online or by challan through the ‘Make Payment’ step on the main menu of the online application. The examination fee can also be remitted through challan payment at any HDFC or Axis Bank branch.

You are advised to note down Registration number for future correspondence. While filling Online application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available, as details are to be filled as per matriculation & other educational certificates. Please save your recent colour passport size photograph (size 10 to 50 KB) in the computer for uploading it with your Online application form.
