How to check JEE Main Result on the mobile phone?
- Open any browser app like Google Chrome or Safari on your smartphone.
- In the address bar, type the official website of JEE main- jeemain.nta.nic.in
- You will see the JEE Main 2024 homepage
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘JEE Main 2024 March result’
- Log in using your application number/ roll number and date of birth/password as mentioned in your JEE Main admit card
- Your JEE Main 2024 result will be displayed on the screen
- Take a screenshot of the JEE result.
JEE Main 2024 B. Tech/ B. Arch Scores to be used for admission to UPSEE 2024, AKTU admissions
The Scores of JEE (Main) 2024 will also be used for admission to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. Candidates who clear JEE Main can apply for admissions in various colleges, other than IITs. The JEE Main scores are valid to take admission in other institutes as well. The B. Tech/ B. Arch scores of JEE (Main) 2024 will be used for admission to B. Tech/B. Arch Courses covered under UPSEE-2024 also.
Compilation and display of JEE Main Result of B.E./B.Tech (Session 1)
Since JEE (Main) 2024, B.E./B.Tech first Session exam will be conducted in multi-shifts, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate. The calculated NTA scores for all the shifts of session 1 will be declared by in March, 2024. This shall comprise the NTA scores for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) and the total in B.E./B.Tech of JEE (Main) February – 2024 (Session 1).

IIT, NIT Seat Allocation Process and Admission Procedure
After completion of the fourth and final cycle of JEE Main exam, candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main) 2024 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later CSAB/ JoSAA. The authentication/verification of relevant documents in support of identification, date of birth, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category and disability (if any) of the qualifying candidates would be done at the time of Seat Allocation/ admission process.
Candidates who fail to produce any of the authentic documents, will not be considered for admission. Gen-EWS, SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates will be required to produce original certificate as per prescribed formats issued by the competent authority at the time of Seat Allocation / admission process failing which they will not be considered for admission.
JEE Main Result: Eligibility for Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board
Admission to B.E. / B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Planning. Courses in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12thclass examination or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class / qualifying examination.
JEE Main February result was declared within 10 days
NTA had declared the JEE Main February result within 10 days from the conclusion of the examination. JEE Main February exam 2024 was conducted from February 24 to 26 in a computer-based test mode. The result was declared within 10 days this time on March 8. However, JEE Main March final answer key has been released just after 6 days and result is expected in a day or two.
In the year 2024, JEE Main Result was declared five days from the completion of the exam. JEE Main 2024 was held from September 1 to 6 and the result was declared on September 11.
JEE Main: Category-wiseSeat Reservations in IITs
There will be certain reservations of seats for reserved category candidates. In the case of Institutes run by the Central Government, the reservation would be applicable as mentioned below:
- 15% of the seats Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates
- 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates
- 27% seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates as per the Central List
- 10% of the seats for General Economically Weaker Sections (General – EWS) candidates
- Persons with Disability (PwD) with 40% or more disability
JEE Mains to be held two more times
NTA had decided to conduct the JEE Main four times a year. Two cycles of JEE Main have already been conducted. The first session was held in February and its result has also been declared. JEE Main Result 2024: NTA won’t release All India Rank this time
National Testing Agency will not release the JEE Main rank list this time. After the result is declared, candidates will be able to check their NTA scores only. These will be the raw scores of the candidates. NTA will prepare the rank list after completion of the final cycle of the exam that will be held in May.

Once the JEE Main Result 2024 for March session exam is declared, candidates will be able to download it from the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main Result 2024: When to expect
NTA on Wednesday declared the JEE Main March final answer key. NTA usually declares the JEE Main Results 2024 within few hours after releasing the final answer key. However, for the JEE February session exam, NTA released the final answer key on March 7 and the result was announced on March 8. Hence, the candidates can expect their results today or tomorrow.
